Frank insights by Sarah Glatzle, organizer of the student reporter’s stay and work at the Tropentag 2013. Herself a graduate of the University of Hohenheim in 2012 with experiences in data collection in Ethiopia, Sarah is in charge for organizing transportation, accommodation, catering and technical equipment for the student reporters at the Tropentag. Before arriving at Hohenheim , Sarah has put the reporters into contact via facebook and patiently responded all questions. For the two days introductory seminar of the reporters, Sarah contacted the lecturers and kept an eye on a fluent process of the seminars. In the following short video, Sarah personally talks about her perceptions during the process and her view on the student reporters and their jobs. We thank Sarah for her great support before and during the conference, ranging from welcome barbecue, provision of useful working material to tickets for public transportation in Stuttgart.
